Srinagar:
Three photojournalists were allegedly beaten by security forces in downtown Srinagar on Friday when they were covering clashes between protesters and police.
They received injuries and have are in hospital.
Police say they were chasing miscreants and in the ensuing chaos, some photojournalists who had intermingled with the crowd to cover the incident may have got injured.
The journalists, however, say the attack on media persons was deliberate and police repeatedly harass them when they cover protests.
