Mumbai:
Judge ML Tahaliyani, while sentencing Ajmal Kasab to death on four counts and life on five others, said:
- Undue sympathy will do more harm
- Keeping such a person alive will be a lingering danger to society
- This man has lost the right of getting humanitarian benefits
- Brutality was writ large, words can't explain the brutality (of 26/11)
- The way he committed the offence, there is no chance of reform
- No evidence to substantiate that he was mentally or emotionally disturbed
