New Delhi: Former Chief Justice of Delhi High Court AP Shah, who decriminalised homosexuality, said in a speech on Saturday that the Supreme Court made a "mistake" by overturning his verdict.
Justice Shah, who was delivering the 9th V.M. Tarkunde Memorial Lecture, said the political climate now favours a re-think on the controversial Section 377 of Indian Penal Code, which prohibits consensual sexual intercourse between people of the same sex.
