Kalmadi aides to be produced in Court today
New Delhi: Former Commonwealth Games (CWG) Organising Committee (OC) officials T S Darbari and Sanjay Mahendroo will be produced in court on Monday. (Read: Who is T S Darbari?)

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) said it recovered "voluminous incriminating" documents from their houses and CWG office revealing graft.

The two officials, who are close aides of Suresh Kalmadi, were arrested last Monday in a case pertaining to payments made to AM films and AM car hire, both owned by Ashish Patel, a UK based businessman.

The accused duo was sent to CBI's custody till November 22. (Read: CWG scam: Kalmadi aides sent to 6-day CBI custody)

Darbari, former OC Joint Director General, and Mahendroo, former OC Deputy Director General, are already facing charges of violation of Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) and have been questioned by Enforcement Directorate.

Another official, Jayachandran, was arrested in connection with the ongoing investigation in the AM films case and car rental case.

He has been facing an enquiry by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and was questioned by them several times. He too will be produced in the Court.

The ED had registered its first case under the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) in CWG after British authorities referred to the Indian High Commission a matter regarding A M Films, a little-known company, to which a huge sum of money was transferred through the Royal Bank of Scotland.
