New Delhi:
Two months ahead of the deadline he set for himself, Road Transport and Highways Minister Kamal Nath has said that he'll make 20 km of road a day.
Speaking to NDTV's Dr Prannoy Roy on India Decides at 9, Nath said that he's aiming for April even though he had earlier said that it would take one year.
"I believe and hope that we will be able to do 20 km per day and I am confident we will do this by April. And I hope we will achieve the target of 7000 kms per year," he said.
Ever since the UPA government came to power last year in May, Nath has been promising to push infrastructure by building 20 kilometers of road per day.
