New Delhi: The camera does not lie - that's what Congress leader Kapil Sibal claims after he released a video which apparently shows his opponent in Delhi's Chandni Chowk trying to bribe voters.
Was it a political stunt or a genuine sting operation?
"I am complaining to the Election Commission," said Sibal.
The CD allegedly shows BJP's Vijender Gupta's wife telling people that it was her husband's signature that had been instrumental in their getting pension doubled. This, Sibal says, amounts to bribery. But Vijender Gupta doesn't seem too worried.
"This is a frustrated Sibal resorting to legal tactics now. I would advise him to get out of AC rooms and come to the people to ask for votes of he wants to win," said Vijender Gupta.
As the temperatures in the capital rise, the battle for Chandni Chowk too is getting hotter by the day.
