Bangalore:
The Karnataka High court has adjourned the hearing on disqualification case of the five Independent MLAs to Monday, November 8.
The rebel, along with 11 BJP MLAs, had been disqualified from the membership of the House by the Speaker of the Assembly, KG Bopaiah, after they had written a letter on October 5 to Governor HR Bharadwaj, withdrawing support from the Yeddyurappa government.
Last week, the disqualification of 11 rebel BJP MLAs was upheld by the Karnataka High Court. However, the buzz is that they may move the Supreme Court against the verdict.
