Karnataka Governor hits back at the BJP-led state government
New Delhi: Karnataka's Governor H R Bharadwaj continues to be confronted by the ruling BJP in the state which says he is acting as an opposition leader. But the Governor indicates that he is not worried.

"Let me tell you, I am not a child. I have been in Parliament for 30 years and most of their senior leaders not even 10 years. I won't comment on this," he said today.

"Anyone who wants the list of corrupt people in Karnataka including ministers should come to Rajbhavan. I have given the list to the Chief Minister," he added.

Bhardwaj had said on Monday that he was not satisfied with Chief Minister B S Yedyurappa's reply to his two letters about corruption charges against him and his ministers.

"I am not satisfied by the reply given by the Chief Minister on the questions I raised over allegations of corruption, illegal mining and land scams", Bhardwaj had said - after Yeddyurappa dispatched his missive to the Governor in response to the two letters he wrote on December 15.

The BJP is formally going to complain against Bharadwaj to the President in Delhi on Wednesday. The BJP has accused Bharadwaj of being a Congress agent following questions raised by him about alleged corruption in the state government.
