Bangalore:
The Governor-government tussle in Karnataka begins again.
After the Bhartiya Janata Party leader alleged that Governor HR Bharadwaj was acting like the 'opposition leader', Bharadwaj has shot back by saying that "This government is blind on corruption... Centre is not asking me to do anything."
Governor HR Bharadwaj had written two letters to Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa asking for clarification on the land scams and Reddy brothers' involvement in illegal mining. The Governor also claimed that he had not got any reply to the letters previously.
At a programme for releasing the BJP manifesto for the upcoming taluk and zila panchayat elections, the State BJP president Eshwarappa had called the Governor an Opposition leader.
The BJP had earlier alleged the Governor of favouring Congress at several instances and behaving like a 'Congress agent'.
