DMK chief Karunanidhi arrived in Delhi to meet his daughter DMK MP Kanimozhi, after Supreme court rejected her bail plea on Monday in the 2G spectrum case. Kanimozhi has been lodged in the Tihar Jail for over a month now.
The top court while rejecting her bail plea had said that Kanimozhi could approach the trial court after charges were framed. According to investigating agencies, Kanimozhi, the CBI alleges was involved in the alleged 200 crore rupes kickback from Swan Telecom to Kalaignar TV - the DMK owned channel. In return Swan got 2G licences.
