Katrina Kaif's Got Work Done, Model Diandra Soares Implies In Post (Now Deleted)

New Delhi: A post about actress Katrina Kaif that model Diandra Soares shared on Facebook and then deleted has caused some consternation online. Diandra accompanied a picture of Katrina with a lengthy message about ageing gracefully, writing "Be fearlessly Ageless by embracing it all gracefully (sic)." It appears that Diandra thinks Katrina's had some work done - although she didn't say so explicitly, Diandra wrote: "It's not a hate post for Kat. I know her and would even say this to her face. It's just that I happened to see this pic and her interview and it got me thinking as to why women are doing this all over the world. And even younger women are into it btw." While 'it' remained undefined, Diandra did write earlier in the post that women should be 'proud of (their) age' and their 'lines.'

Katrina Kaif, who is gearing up for the release of Jagga Jasoos, has ignored Diandra Soares' now-deleted post. Recently, she told news agency PTI that she opts to disregard the negative comments which come her way on social media. "Sometimes you get good feedback and response, you know you have well-wishers and supporters and that's what you should pay attention to and not the negativity," she said.

Diandra Soares became a household name after she featured in controversial reality show Bigg Boss 8. Diandra's Bigg Boss 8 journey was marked by two major events - her alleged affair with actor Gautam Gulati (who won the show) and when she shaved her head for a task. In her career as a model, Diandra gained fame for her unconventional bald look. She was panned by the fashion critics the first time she shaved her head in 1999 but was welcomed with open arms at the Lakme Fashion Week in 2010.

Diandra Soares also featured in director Madhur Bhandarkar's Fashion as herself.
