Kejriwal questions Khurshid's 'proof': Highlights

New Delhi: After Law Minister Salman Khurshid said that he will not resign over allegations that his NGO embezzled funds granted by the Central government, Arvind Kejriwal has stepped up his attack on the minister. Below are the highlights:

• Yesterday Salman Khurshid held a press conference. He showed everyone photographs and said JB Singh was present. But later he was caught - photos were from 2010-2011, whereas the allegations pertain to 2009- 2010.
  
• Between last evening and this morning, media has brought out so many facts that I don't think we need more evidence against Khurshid
• We have not found those people whose names are on the list (provided by Khurshid).
• Daya Ram, Son of Laxman, when we contacted him we found that he was not physically challenged
• He got a tricycle - on 27 May 2011 - they conducted his eye surgery.
• In another case - Pankaj Kumar, son of Ramesh Chand - the list says he was given a hearing aid, but when we met him he said he was not deaf, he had a problem with his foot.
• In NDTV, there is a story running that is showing that one guy got a hearing aid in 2011, but he had died in 2009.
• Here is a story in Dainik Jagaran, dated October 14; they say a camp in Sidharth Nagar wasn't organized. They should be careful, Salman Khurshid may file a suit against them. 
• If you steal, do it properly so that you are not caught (cites newspaper reports).
• Why is the Congress defending the trust? Is it their trust or Salman Khurshid's trust? 
• Kejriwal presents Pankaj Kumar, who says he hasn't got anything from the camp
• Pankaj Kumar says, "I never went to the camp"
• On the Mainpuri list, this man is no 21 on the list and the camp is said to have been held on May 27, 2011
• There is enough evidence in this case but the question is who will investigate this, Akhilesh Yadav?
• There is a disproportionate assets case pending against his father in Supreme Court - the counsel for the government against Mulayam Singh is appointed by the Law Minister.
• So Salman Khurshid will save Mulayam Singh and his son Akhilesh will save Khurshid.
• Don't think Prime Minister wants to meet us. These physically challenged people called up the PMO and they were told to send a written request. So we are sending a written request now.
• Salman Khurshid should resign so that there can be a fair investigation
• After the PM's response, we will decide what needs to be done further.
• We will get to know whether the PM is with the people of India or with his corrupt Law Minister.
• There will soon come a  day that people will be beaten and forced to admit that they are physically challenged and received help.
• The Congress party is very powerful - all of us have a breaking point. 
• One by one every piece of evidence will be wiped out.
• Give then 10-days' time, the Law Minister would have wiped out every evidence.
  There is no inquiry that will be conducted.

• This is the UP government's report; there was no Aaj Tak, no activists till then - why a second inquiry now?
• BJP is busy keeping quiet. There is no Opposition in this country, everyone is exposed and every political party - Congress, BJP, SP - are hand-in-glove.
