New Delhi:
The first meeting of the Group of Ministers(GoM) on Commonwealth Games will be held today.
Urban Development Minister Jaipal Reddy said that the main focus of the meet will be on delivery.
This is after an emergency meeting called by the Prime Minister on Saturday to discuss CWG corruption scandals.
The PM had suggested that the GoM headed by Urban Development minister Jaipal Reddy should meet immediately and frequently.
Apart from Reddy, sports minister M S Gill, Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit and Organising Committee chairman Suresh Kalmadi will attend today's meeting.
The Group is empowered to take all decisions related to the Games. For any other major decision, Finance minister Pranab Mukherjee will take a final call.
Also, the Cabinet Secretary will now liaise closely with the GoM and the Committee of Secretaries headed by him will have jurisdiction over the Organising Committee
