Mumbai:
Almost a year after the 26/11 attacks case began in a special court in Mumbai, the trial of Ajmal Kasab, the lone Pakistani terrorist who was caught while he and nine others were carrying out the attacks in Mumbai, is likely to conclude on Wednesday.

April 15, 2009: Kasab's first lawyer Anjali Waghmare is removed because she is also defending a victim of 26/11
May 6, 2009: On the Day 12 of trial, Kasab pleads "Not Guilty" to his crimes
June 10, 2009: One of the youngest witnesses, a 10-year-old girl injured by Kasab's bullets identifies him in court
On day 65 of the trial: Kasab confesses in open court and says he accepts his crime
August 12, 2009: The FBI deposes in the Kasab case, confirming the Pakistan Link
November 30, 2009: Kasab's second lawyer Abbas Kazmi is removed for not co-operating with the court
December 17, 2009: The last witness, Additional Comm Crime, Deven Bharati is examined by the prosecution
December 18, 2009: Kasab retracts his statement to the judge. Denies all involvement
