Mumbai:
Starting Wednesday, the check-in counters for all domestic flights of Kingfisher Airlines departing from the six cities of Mumbai, New Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata, Hyderabad & Chennai, will close 40 minutes before the existing departure time.
This effectively means that their check-in counters will close ten minutes earlier than they used to.
Further, the boarding gates for domestic flights departing from the above six airports will close 15 minutes before the time of departure.
According to the airline authorities, the change has been implemented to minimize operational disruptions and guest inconvenience.
The airline requested all its guests to arrive at the airport based on the new check-in timings, proceed for security checks and arrive at their boarding gate in time.
The airline said that all guests will be notified via messages on their phones from airline call centres and via e-mails, also via Kingfisher travel trade partners.
