Lalgarh:
Two people have been killed in exchange of fire between Maoists and security forces at Boria village near Lalgarh.
22-year-old Santu Mahato died at Jhargram Hospital and 25-year-old Kajal Mahato's body was found near Boria jungle. Security forces came under fire at Kalboni when they went to defuse a land mine.
In another incident two CPI-M workers were shot dead by suspected Maoists at Sabar-Bhanga village near Jhargram. The victims, ex member of zilla parishad, and the CPM gram secretary were shot after being awarded the death sentence in a Kangaroo court.
