Kochi:
Vivek Venugopal, co-owner of the Kochi IPL franchise, has told NDTV that they have written to the BCCI president Shashank Manohar and asked for Lalit Modi to reveal the shareholding structures of all the other IPL teams owned by consortiums like Kings XI, Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals.
"Why are the various owners of these teams and their stakes not being revealed? We are now waiting for the BCCI's response before we decide on a course of action," Venugopal said. (

This was in response to the controversy caused by Indian Premier League Commissioner Lalit Modi's tweets on Monday about the shareholding structure of the new Kochi franchise and Minister of State for External Affairs Shashi Tharoor's role in it.
Sources close to the Kochi team meanwhile told NDTV that "Pushkar is a sales and marketing expert who has every right to have a free equity for the expertise she brings on board. She knows the Kerala and UAE market very well.
"What if she's a close friend of Shashi Tharoor. Several other teams have owners close to politicians. Does that mean that it is the politicians who have invested?" the sources asked.
Modi, they said, seemed to be targeting Sunanda Pushkar.
The Kochi team will hold a meeting on Wednesday to decide whether to take legal action or not. It is waiting for the BCCI to get back to them on their official complaint.
