Lalu asks Nitish to quit over murder case
Patna:

RJD chief and former Bihar chief Minister Lalu Yadav has asked Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to resign for his alleged involvement in a murder.

A court in Bihar has summoned the CM next week in connection with a petition that accuses he was involved in the murder of a voter during by-elections in 1991.

The petition says that Nitish Kumar was present when his party (then the Janata Dal) opened fire at a polling booth. One voter was killed in the firing. The chief minister was contesting this election.

Opposition leader Lalu Yadav says Nitish Kumar should resign over the matter.
