New Delhi: The last rites of veteran CPI leader AB Bardhan, who died in New Delhi on Saturday, will be performed today at Nigambodh Ghat, a senior party leader said.
"His body is in the mortuary of GB Pant Hospital and it will be brought to the party headquarters, Ajoy Bhavan, around 10 am and will be placed there till 1 pm," the party leader said on Sunday.
Mr Bardhan, 92, suffered a paralytic stroke on December 7, following which he was admitted to hospital.
He was on ventilator for the last two weeks, the attending doctors said.
