The LoC divides Jammu and Kashmir between India and Pakistan, while the LAC separates India and China.
Netaji Bose would have also been proud that the government he dreamt of is fighting a pandemic with vaccines developed by it, and gave a befitting reply whenever its sovereignty was challenged, PM Modi said on the occasion of the 125th birth anniversary of Netaji being celebrated by the Centre as ''Parakram Diwas''.

The man presented by protesting farmers near Delhi at a news conference late Friday had lied about plotting to disrupt their agitation and "assassinate" four leaders on Republic Day, the police said on Saturday.
The Haryana police have been questioning the man after agitating farmer leaders alleged that he was involved in a conspiracy to kill four of them and disrupt their planned tractor parade in Delhi on January 26.

Jailed Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Yadav was admitted to AIIMS-Delhi this evening after his health condition deteriorated while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Ranchi, officials said.

Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee erupted in anger at Kolkata's Victoria Memorial on Saturday evening - at an event to honour legendary freedom fighter Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on his 124th birth anniversary - after she was interrupted with chants of "Jai Shri Ram".
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was on stage for the incident - one of the few times in the recent past she has shared a platform with him. Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar was also present.

Farmers protesting the central government's new agricultural laws will be allowed to hold a tractor parade in Delhi on Republic Day, the Delhi Police said on Saturday, setting aside the initial resistance from authorities for the demonstration.
