Corporate lobbyist Niira Radia met CBI Director AP Singh at the North Block office this morning.
CBI sources have told NDTV that Ms Radia sought an appointment with the CBI director after being blackmailed.
A lawyer is believed to be threatening Ms Radia with a letter written to the CBI.
Ms Radia is listed as witness number 44 among over 125 witnesses which include some former bureaucrats of the telecom department, corporates and even Attorney General Goolam Essaji Vahanvati.
The CBI is likely to file the second supplementary charge sheet in the 2G scam by June end or in first week of July, the sources said.
