Voting for Phase 2 Lok Sabha was concluded in 11 states and 1 Union Territory today. They are Assam, Bihar, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Manipur, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Bengal, Chhattisgarh and Union Territory Puducherry. The voting across polling stations began at 7 AM and ended at 6 PM. Over 1,600 candidates contested on 95 seats in general election Phase 2. Former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda, Senior Congress leader Veerappa Moily, BJP lawmaker Hema Malini and National Conference President Farooq Abdullah are among the prominent candidates contesting in the phase 2 elections. Phase 2 Voting For Lok Sabha Elections 2019: Voting percentage

Tamil Nadu recorded 72 per cent voting  in 38 Lok Sabha constituencies of the state.

In Karnataka, an estimated 61.84 per cent voter turnout was reported, where 14 Lok Sabha constituencies are going to the polls.

Odisha recorded around 64 per cent of the over 76.93 lakh electorate voted till 6 PM.

In Maharashtra, 62 per cent polling was recorded till 6 PM in 10 constituencies of the state.

Bihar saw voter turnout of over 62.52 per cent turnout till 6 PM.

Chhattisgarh saw a voting percentage of 71 per cent till 6 PM.

43.4 per cent voting was recorded in Jammu and Kashmir's Udhampur.

Assam saw an estimated 73.32 per cent of over 69 lakh electorate till 6 PM.

76.07 per cent voting was recorded in Bengal till 5 PM.
