New Delhi: Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan today pulled up Congress member Deepender Singh Hooda for storming the Well of the House to protest against not granting of enough time to him to raise the issue of One Rank, One Pension (OROP).
"You are still young. These type of tactics are not proper," she told Mr Hooda.
Raising the issue during Zero Hour, Mr Hooda wanted the government to effectively implement OROP for ex-servicemen insisting that the scheme implemented had several flaws and leaves out those seeking premature retirement.
An agitated Mr Hooda later staged a walkout protesting against the Speaker not giving him enough time to have his say.
Earlier the Speaker asked members not to raise the issues which were exclusively in the states' jurisdiction during the Zero Hour.
"I request the members not to raise the state matters here," she said.
