It was a good exercise to expose everybody. Look at the stand taken by BJP & TMC on Lokayukta. Countering Team Anna's one of the non-negotiable and team Anna think only congress is against them. Team Anna should learn from the complexities involved in getting the law passed instead of blindly accusing congress alone.

Reply by: Ashok | Replied to: ashok Critics of anna claim Parliament is supreme, only Parliament can make law etc..what is their answer now. They way they conducted business in Rajya sabha yesterday, they do not deserve to represent us. What kind of law they can give this country...we are heading for civil unrest in this country

Reply by: Ashwini Really unfortunate what happened yesterday. It was so nicely orchestrated and completely diabolical. Such great performances. These events have reduced the prestige of parliament.

The so called Team Anna is arguing on bringing the Lok pal, Lokayukta in one bill.... but all opposition parties including Ruling alliance TMC raised Federal Structure clause. Now, team Anna should try to convince the other parties and government too on their version of Lokpal instead of threatening and cornering one party. NGO, should meet people, intellectuals, collect information and meet all political parties and should convince them on all the issues... Team Anna's contribution should be in this way, rather behaving like a political party and always pointing only ruling party...

The debate was interesting...but in the end you can really make out it was scripted...the responsibility lies with the ruling party to bring the necessary amendment to get the support...they did not had the no's..and they had planned this from the beginning....till now i was neutral..u betrayed my trust, time and country

Reply by: shymenon@yahoo.comsat watching ndtv through night, deeply disappointed. Least that members could have given us is a lokpal meeting most of criteria than a perfect one. TMC indeed most irresponsible.Either be the part of the team or be outside.Lacks political maturity. BJP for once could have chosen not to play politics.Hope the ruling party does homework to make this a reality

I hang my head in shame that I chose this government. What a sad end of this year which showed us the power of people and also how this power is crushed by our own representatives in Parliament. We have been cheated by our own people.
