Morena (Madhya Pradesh): A day after a BJP leader was seriously injured when he was accidentally hit by a bullet during a gun salute at a town near Morena, the police have arrested one person for negligence and firing in a public place.
At a rally on Sunday, the BJP workers fired shots in the air to welcome new BJP National general secretary Narendra Singh Tomar. One bullet hit party worker Subhash Sharma injuring him, and putting Tomar in a spot.
Sharma was rushed to primary health centre and then to Morena district hospital, which finally referred him to Gwalior Medical College Hospital.
