Naxals have struck again, this time, looting a tanker containing over 16 tons of Ammonium Nitrate used in making explosives near Dhanora Tehsil in Gadchiroli. The tanker was on its way from Chandrapur in Gadchiroli to Dantewada in Chhattisgarh.
On March 10, the Naxals felled trees and stopped the tanker that was transporting the chemical for a private company.
They abducted the tanker and held it hostage for two days, then let the driver and cleaner go.
