Maharashtra's Anti-Corruption Bureau to Launch Mobile App For Corruption Complaints

Mumbai: Maharashtra'sAnti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) will soon launch a mobile phone application thatwill enable people to report and lodge corruption complaints ingovernment and semi-government establishments.


State Home Minister R R Patil announced this in Mumbai, yesterday, after ameeting with senior ACB officials at Worli.

The traps laid byACB to nab corrupt staff members has been successful, The minister said, addingthat compared to last year, there has been an increase of 107 per cent in thetraps laid till July this year.


Mr Patil also asked people to come forward to report instances of corruption.
