A case has been filed after a man raped a seven-year-old girl near Sukhdev Nagar area in Ranchi, the police said on Saturday.
Superintendent of Police of Ranchi Saurabh said the police have registered the case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
He said that the accused is missing and raids are being conducted to arrest him.
