A man was beaten to death allegedly by a group of men after he protested against his daughter's harassment in Uttar Pradesh's Amroha district.
The girl, a student of class XI, had complained to her father on previous occasions of being harassed by some men from the same locality.
On Wednesday, the man had gone to the house of the accused to complain about the harassment. According to the police, the accused attacked the victim after an argument and allegedly beat him to death.
Amroha's Assistant Superintendent of Police Uday Shankar Singh said that they have set an enquiry into the matter.
