A 30-year-old man, relative of Vyapam scam accused and former state minister Laxmikant Sharma, committed suicide at his house in Bhopal, police said today.
Vibhor Dubey (30) committed suicide yesterday night at his house at Riviera Town of Bhopal, said superintendent of police Siddharth Bahuguna.
Mr Dubey, a close relative of Laxmikant Sharma, was alone at home when he hanged himself from the ceiling, the SP Bhauguna said, adding that Mr Dubey was not connected with the Vyapam scam in any way.
Laxmikant Sharma, who was a minister in the Shivraj Singh Chouhan government, is one of the accused in the admission and recruitment scam at the MP Professional Examination Board or 'Vyapam'.
