Bhagalpur:
An unidentified man was beaten to death by a mob at Akbarpur railway station in Bhagalpur district of Bihar, police said on Wednesday.
Suspecting the man as a child lifter, the mob lynched him, aged about 35 years, last night Superintendent of Police, B S Meena said.
The body was sent for post mortem, he said, adding efforts were on to identity the deceased.
Earlier this week, three women, hailing from Banka district, were beaten to death by a mob at a place in Barari police circle area in the district suspecting them to be child lifters.
