Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh): As the country celebrated the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya, Yatindra Mishra, the man who prepared the jewellery of Lord Ram, spoke about the demanding timeline and said that they "had very little time" for extensive research for the finalisation of the ornamentation of Ram Lalla.
Mr Mishra said that they had only 15-16 days left for extensive research and to study texts such as the Adhyatma Ramayana, Valmiki Ramayana, Ramcharitmanas and the Alavandar Stotram for the preparation of Ram Lalla's jewellery, after Ram Lalla's idol was prepared by Arun Yogiraj.
"We had very little time. We had only 15-16 days after the idol prepared by Arun Yogiraj was finalised. Adhyatma Ramayan, Shrimad Valmiki Ramayan, Ramcharitmanas, Yamunacharya's Alavandar Stotra--all these were referred to. 132 artists worked on it. Every ornament was detailed and prepared with rubies, emeralds, diamonds and gold," he told news agency ANI.
Mr Mishra said that even if Shri Ram is garlanded with a flower, he will look as grand as he looks with jewellery.
"Everyday designs would come, we would check them and then they were shown to the trust. Even if Shri Ram is garlanded with a flower, he will look as grand as he looks with jewellery," he added.
Meanwhile, Arun Yogiraj, the sculptor who carved Ram Lalla's idol, said that he is indebted to God for this opportunity.
"I have no words for the love people are showing me. I am so indebted to God for this opportunity. The stone used for making the idol of Lord Ram is from Mysuru district. I think it is Lord Ram's blessing that I got the opportunity," Arun Yogiraj told reporters on Wednesday.
Mr Yogiraj, the sculptor who carved Ram Lalla's idol, finds himself in a state of profound blessing.
"I am the luckiest person on earth. The blessings of my ancestors, family members and Lord Ram Lalla have always been with me. Sometimes, I feel like I am in a dream world. This is the biggest day for me," he told ANI.
Ayodhya witnessed a massive gathering of devotees on the second day (Wednesday), post the 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony of Shri Ram Lalla. Braving severe cold coupled with fog, people stood in long queues around Rampath and the temple premises since morning.
