New Delhi: Speaking exclusively to NDTV's Supriya Sharma in Patna, Lalu Prasad Yadav on Friday said he is still part of the UPA. And no, it is not Sharad Pawar for PM, but Manmohan Singh.
The RJD leader was asked: "There is speculation -- that you will join United Front? Sharad Pawar's name is being discussed as Prime Minister?"
He responded: "Sharad Pawar and all the others are part and parcel of UPA. There is no United Front.
"We are all part and parcel of UPA. We have a commitment to the nation. None of us are in the race for PM -- the only prime ministerial candidate is Manmohan Singh."
