Many feared killed, few survivors: Karnataka CM

Bangalore:

Chief Minister of Karnataka S Yeddyurappa has said he expects the casualties in the Dubai-Mangalore air crash to be high, but has confirmed that some survivors have been taken to hospital.

Speaking to NDTV, Yeddyurappa said 160 people are feared dead in the air crash.

The Chief Minister and the state home minister are flying in to Mangalore.

Yeddyurappa said he had requested the Central government to conduct an inquiry.
