Maoist leader sent to judicial custody
New Delhi: The Special Cell of the Delhi Police has arrested a top CPM leader Kobad Gandhi from an undisclosed location in Delhi on late Sunday evening.

Kobad was produced before the Tis Hazari court. The court has sent him to 14 days judicial custody as Gandhi claimed that he was unwell.

He was responsible for spreading the organisation's influence in urban areas.

The Delhi police was demanding his custody for interrogation. Kobad may be produced again on Wednesday in case his health improves.

Gandhi, heading the publication wing, was caught by the Special Cell of Delhi Police following an input received from intelligence agencies.
