Maoists kill jawan in Jharkhand

Medininagar (Jharkhand): Suspected Maoists randomly fired at Jharkhand Armed Police on Friday, killing a jawan and injuring two others at a village in Palamau district, police said.

The security forces were patrolling Chak village when the incident happened.

Deputy Inspector General of Police (Palamau Range) Prashant Kumar Singh said additional forces have been rushed to the spot.
