New Delhi: Lord Swaraj Paul on Monday described former British premier Margaret Thatcher as a "very decisive person" and a "great" prime minister, who brought pride to her country.
"Margaret Thatcher was a great Prime Minister. The one thing which she should get credit for and she does get credit for is, she brought the pride in Britain and pride in British people while making the country efficient," he told PTI.
Describing her as a "very decisive" leader, he said a person like her will always invite "some criticism, some praise but it is how you look at it."
"Poor lady had been suffering, so it (her death) should not be considered a loss, but yes, a very sad death," he said on the sidelines of a function where Wolverhampton University gave scholarships to girl students.
