Ludhiana: A massive fire broke out at a hosiery unit in Punjab's Ludhiana this morning, police said. The building is located close to the Shingaar Cinema on Samrala Road. Twelve fire brigades were present at the spot. Police sources said that the fire was so intense that a portion of the building collapsed.
No casualties were reported. Goods worth lakhs of rupees were completely destroyed in the fire.
Police said the cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained.
