A 12-year-old mentally challenged boy was allegedly sexually assaulted by a man in Kotwali area of the district, police said yesterday.
The boy's father has filed a case, alleging that Sannata Kushwaha lured his son to an agriculture field on Saturday afternoon and assaulted him.
The accused has been absconding since the case was registered, police said, adding that a manhunt has been launched to nab him.
