Bangalore:
India, China and Russia have sent a message to Pakistan to act against terror groups like the Jamaat-ud-dawa, the front for the Lashkar-e-Taiyyba.
Without naming Pakistan, a joint statement, issued after the 3 foreign ministers met in Bangalore this morning, says, "The Ministers highlighted the need to bring the perpetrators of all terrorist attacks to justice ...and the need for strict observance of the sanctions regime against persons and entities listed by the UNSC Committee 1267."
UN resolution 1267 has declared the Jamaat-Ud-Dawa and its chief, Hafiz Saeed as terrorists. Saeed is the mastermind of the 26/11 attacks in Mumbai. India has been asking that Pakistan arrest him. Pakistan insists it does not have evidence to link Saeed to 26/11.
