Mickky Pacheco's Officer on Special Duty moves High Court

Panaji: Lyndon Monteiro, the Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the absconding former Tourism Minister Mickky Pacheco has filed an appeal in the Goa Bench of the Bombay High Court.

This after a  sessions court rejected an anticipatory bail application, saying there was grave suspicion regarding Lyndon's involvement in the destruction of evidence in order to save and protect the prime suspect.

The hearing that now holds Monteiro as a co-accused in the death of Nadia Torrado, along with Mickky Pacheco has started at the High Court.

On Thursday, a Goa court rejected Pachecho's application for anticipatory bail. The Goa police claims it has no idea where Pachecho might be. Despite all local police stations being alerted, nobody has apparently spotted one of Goa's most prominent and brash political leaders.
