Srinagar:
At least two personnel were injured on Tuesday when militants opened fire on a army search party in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Militants fired on a search party of army personnel at Haft Shirmal in Shopian district late on Tuesday evening, an army official said in Srinagar.
Two army jawans sustained injuries in the initial firing by the militants, he added.
The official said the area has been cordoned off and search operation was in progress when reports last came in.
