Militants shoot down policemen in Srinagar

Srinagar: One policeman was killed and another hospitalised in critical conditionin Srinagar on Sunday afternoon, after militants shot them at pointblank range.

The militants attacked them in city's Qamarwari area. Both policemen were shot in the head.

There have been two other incidents of policemen shot at point blank range this year. Two policemen each were killed at Regal chowk and Lal Chown on August 1 and 31 respectively.
