Shreya Pradip thanked minister Jayant Sinha on Twitter for giving up his first class seats for her mother
New Delhi:
Union Minister Jayant Sinha gave up his seats on a flight recently and won the gratitude of a young girl who tweeted referring to "Acche Din (good times)".
Shreya Pradip was reportedly moved to better seats on an Indigo flight from Bengaluru to Ranchi because her mother was unwell and needed more leg room. They soon realized the seats belonged to Mr Sinha, the Minister of State for Civil Aviation, and his wife.
The minister asked Shreya and her mother to remain seated and said he would sit elsewhere.
Shreya's post thanking Mr Sinha has been retweeted over 2,600 times and has received nearly as many likes. She posted a selfie with the minister.

Mr Sinha joins the club of ministers who have won praise on social media with their problem solving or unusual gesture. External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu are known to be among the most responsive ministers on Twitter, where users have not even stopped at asking for marriage advice or an urgent supply of diapers on train. You are very welcome! https://t.co/fLlQp4Lzmn
