Moga, Punjab: A 17-year-old girl, a student of Class 12, was allegedly abducted and raped by three people in Punjab's Moga district.
According to police the victim, a resident of a village under Baghapurana police station, was abducted on February 1 from her house and taken to a deserted tube well in a village where she was raped.
After the girl fell unconscious the accused dumped the victim near her house and escaped.
The victim later narrated the incident to her parents and a police complaint was lodged on Sunday.
The girl in her complaint alleged that she was forcibly dragged from her house by one of the accused and the other two pulled her inside a waiting car.
Moga's Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ashish Chaudhry has constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to nab the accused, who are absconding.
