New Delhi:
A minor tremor measuring 2.8 on the Richter scale occurred this evening in the West Khasi Hills area of Meghalaya.
According to a preliminary report released by the India Meteorological Department, a "slight" tremor was recorded at 6:28 pm in the area. The quake had a focal depth of 26-km, IMD added.
