Hyderabad:
Prabhu Chavan, a BJP MLA in Karnataka, was briefly detained at the Hyderabad airport last night while boarding a flight to Delhi. He was released after questioning.
Sources said the MLA was found carrying a pistol and 20 rounds of ammunition in his bag. The licence for the pistol had expired.
Prabhu Chavan is a BJP MLA from Aurad constituency in Bidar.
