Bhanderwah: A moderate intensity tremor today shook Bhaderwah valley and adjoining areas in Doda-Kishtwar belt of Jammu and Kashmir.
The quake, measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale, hit the area around 2.38 pm today, Met officials said.
There was no immediate report of any casualty or injury reported from anywhere, the officials said.
However, it triggered fear among the people, leading them to rush out of their houses.
In the month of May this year, Bhaderwah and its adjoining areas witnessed 37 tremors.
