New Delhi: Maintaining that the judiciary's independence is of prime importance, Union Minister for Law and Justice Veerappa Moily says people with doubtful integrity should not be made judges.
Speaking to Shekhar Gupta on NDTV's Walk the Talk, the Minister said that since he took over his current post, he's sent back recommendations of many judges to the Supreme Court for reconsideration. He says he's done this more than two to three of his predecessors put together.
The Minister spoke about about the Judicial Accountability Bill.
