Parliament Monsoon Session Day 3:The Upper House is set to discuss mob violence against minorities today.
Day two of the Monsoon session of Parliament had a stormy start. It commenced with the opposition creating pandemonium and concluded with a consternating whirlwind as
BSP chief Mayawati handed her resignation from the Rajya Sabha for '
not being allowed to speak on the dalit issue'. Stormy debates on cow vigilantism, farmers' protests are expected to dominate the discourse of the Parliament in the Monsoon Session. On the third day of the Monsoon session, the Upper House is set to discuss mob violence against minorities. The government, on its part, is seeking cooperation of the opposition in getting key legislative business passed and has lined up around two dozen bills in the session that will have around 20 sittings.

Discuss Lynchings In Greater Detail: Sitaram Yechury
"These lynching incidents across the country are a very serious matter. I urge the government to discuss this in greater detail in the House and let us meet and tweet on our views and differences... but the end result should be that such incidents stop," said CPI(M) General Secretary Sitaram Yechury.
